A Pampanga real estate developer puts sports at the forefront of its plans as it aims to address the needs of its community.
Sporting enthusiasts can expect more to come from real estate developer Alviera after hosting its first-ever Longest Drive Championship at the country’s longest driving range in Porac, Pampanga on Saturday, August 23.
With facilities already in place at their Central Luzon property, they are aiming to be a hub of sporting enthusiasts and weekend warriors in Porac and beyond, targeting more events to cater a budding community.
Flexing the property’s 350-meter long driving range which opened last December, Alviera poses itself to be a future hotspot for sports.
“We have the expanse to actually put up different types of facilities for people here in Central Luzon to enjoy. So, besides our Alviera country club, we have the Sandbox, we have our trails. Recently, we opened our football field, our open grounds, and then last December, the driving range,” said Christine Enriquez-Yabao, marketing manager for Ayala Land Estates - Central Luzon.
With high-class facilities not just in golf but also for other sports, Yabao said that they are pushing for more activities like the Longest Drive Championship.
In fact, the property is in the midst of hosting its own sports program, where they will be having other events catered to the sporting community in Pampanga. They will also be playing host to a number of third-party competitions.
“We are just halfway into our Alviera sports program. So, as mentioned, we had football, Frisbee, now to golf, then racket sports. In the balance of the year, we will be having trail runs, biking events,” said Yabao.
“The Spartan Trailfecta will be here, as well as the Spartan Regional Finals will be here in November. And then, in October, we will be having a series of fun runs. So, everyone can actually enjoy the expanse of the estate, not only road running, but as well as enjoying our mountain ranges with trail runs and motorsports as well,” she continued.
With a decade of experience under, Alviera is looking to further its reputation to the sporting community. As more and more people move in to the property, Yabao said that Alviera will continue to innovate and expand based on the needs of its constituents.
“Definitely, this is just the start. So, as we develop the estate, we are listening to the community, and hopefully in the future, as soon as we get the feel of what they want, as soon as they get better, then we will be providing and complementing their needs,” she said.
The Alviera Longest Drive Championship featured a men’s division, women’s division, and team division in its first holding with golfers from across the Philippines and abroad competing.
Among featured golfers who graced the event was pro golfer Kayla Nocum, who competes in the Ladies Philippine Golf Tour.
