The seas of adventure have reached Manila as Coach Rio de la Cruz, founder and CEO of Runrio, unveiled the maiden One Piece Run in the Philippines, happening on September 28 at SM City Fairview.
The grand reveal took place at SM North EDSA, where fans got their first taste of pirate fever with cosplay, interactive zones, and a preview of race-day exclusives. Echoing the spirit of the anime’s iconic line—“If you don’t take risks, you can’t create a future”—this unique fun run promises to blend fitness, fandom, and fun in a way never before seen locally.
Animezing North: One Piece Adventures
Before the big race, fans can dive into Animezing North: One Piece Adventures, the largest official One Piece activation ever staged in the country. From August 19 to September 4, The Block Atrium at SM North EDSA transforms into a lively adventure hub, recreating some of the series’ most unforgettable moments.
Life-sized statues of all ten Straw Hat Pirates and two gigantic Gear 5 Luffy inflatables bring the anime to life, while exclusive merchandise from partner brands give collectors plenty to take home.
