When the pressure is at its highest, Team Liquid PH is at their best — again.

TLPH shook off a sluggish start before sending Aurora Turkiye packing with a 3-1 win, advancing to the  lower bracket semifinals of the M7 World Championship on Friday, January 23.

Playing their second straight do-or-die match, the Cavalry rose to the occasion anew as their 'Golden Road' bid remained intact.

The victory also keeps the tantalizing possibility of an all-Filipino Grand Finals alive, as Aurora Gaming PH awaits in the championship clash.

Jungler Sidar 'Tienzy' Mentese led the charge as Aurora Turkiye struck first, delivering a perfect 6/0/7 performance on Leomord to secure MVP honors.

But Team Liquid PH refused to fold, as Karl 'KarlTzy' Nepomuceno delivered a decisive ‘savage’ kill on Hilda to swing the momentum in Game 2.

TLPH rode the momentum to take a 2-1 lead after EXP laner Sanford 'Sanford' Vinuya delivered a 5/2/5 performance to earn MVP honors.

Team Liquid landed the decisive blow in Game 4, finishing off Aurora Turkiye despite a slow start behind a gutsy performance.

Up next, TLPH will take on the victor of the lower bracket quarterfinal showdown between Alter Ego and Team Spirit, set for 8:00 p.m. later
