Esports personality Setsuna “Akosi Dogie” Ignacio didn’t mince words when addressing the possible wave of players from Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) to Honor of Kings (HoK), following the transfer of Yawi, H2wo, and Renejay.
They’ve ruled one kingdom—now, they’re ready to conquer another.
And for Setsuna “Akosi Dogie” Ignacio, that makes all the difference.
The longtime content creator and esports personality didn’t mince words when asked about the possible wave of player transfers, following the blockbuster move of former Nexplay stars Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera, John Paul "H2wo" Salonga, and Renejay “Renejay” Barcarse from Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) to Honor of Kings (HoK).

“Ayoko ‘yung mga cheap na tao lang sasali sa Honor of Kings,” Dogie emphasized when asked whether the Big Three's transfer would be a green light for more players to shift to HoK.
For Dogie, who played a big role in building Nexplay and mentoring some of the league’s best players, the move to Honor of Kings isn’t just a simple change — it’s a bold new direction.
He sees HoK not just as another game, but as a true test for players who are ready to grind and prove themselves all over again.
Now, with Yawi, H2wo, and Renejay — the former “Big Three” of Nexplay — joining him under the Honor of Kings banner, the message is clear: this isn’t just for show. It’s a serious statement of intent.
All three players recently parted ways with their respective squads. Yawi exited TNC Pro Team following a one-season stint, having previously won back-to-back MPL titles in Indonesia.
Renejay left Aurora Gaming after a strong two-season run that included a finals appearance in MPL PH Season 14. H2wo, on the other hand, departed Smart Omega Neos after helping the team secure consistent top-four finishes in the MDL.
For the trio, this isn’t just a reunion—it’s a reset.
“Pumunta kami sa bahay ni Boss D at nag-usap-usap kami,” Yawi shared, recalling the conversation that led to their jump to Honor of Kings.
He added that the chance to reunite with his former teammates played a big role in his decision to take on new challenges and explore fresh opportunities.
H2wo, who played alongside Yawi and Renejay during their early days with Nexplay, echoed the excitement.
“Since nasa D-League ako, hindi ko na sinayang ‘yung opportunity—lalo na’t makakasama ko ulit ‘yung mga dati kong teammates. Gusto ko ring mag-explore ng bagong game at ibalik ‘yung gigil ko sa paglalaro,” he said.
Also joining the squad is Oscar “Sumpak” Romero, another familiar face in the local content scene who will suit up alongside the trio in this new venture.
