The NU Bulldogs emerged as champions of the inaugural Galaxy Gaming Academy x MLBB Campus Series 2025 in Jakarta, defeating teams from Southeast Asia to claim the US$18,000 grand prize.
The NU Bulldogs of the Philippines made history by conquering the first-ever Galaxy Gaming Academy X Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Campus Series 2025.
The Philippine squad, composed of Johann Estacio, Rendell Bangsal, Kirk Herrero, Harold James Blas, and John Prince Paculan, emerged as Southeast Asia’s top collegiate MLBB team after an intense three-day battle held at the iconic Taman Anggrek Mall in Jakarta.
The Bulldogs outplayed eight of the region’s best student squads to claim the championship and the tournament’s top prize of US$18,000 from a total prize pool of US$40,000.
The event marked the inaugural inter-country MLBB Campus Series, drawing more than 1,000 teams from Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore through local qualifiers.

Organized in partnership between Samsung and MOONTON Games, the landmark tournament aims to elevate collegiate-level competition and support the region’s growing esports ecosystem.
“This event showcases our shared goal of building strong grassroots pathways for aspiring professional players,” Ray Ng, Head of Ecosystem at MOONTON Games, added.
NU capped their dominant run with a hard-fought victory over FAITH NOVUS Bravehearts in the grand finals, with the latter earning the runner-up prize of US$8,000.
Host country Indonesia’s VL Team secured third place and took home US$5,000.
"Taking home the championship title is beyond what we imagined when we first registered. Playing against the best campus teams from Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore has made us all better players and shown us the incredible depth of talent in our region,” said Patrick Balanquit, coach for the NU Bulldogs.
