Adding to four golds, Team Philippines keeps its momentum with six silvers and a strong haul of bronzes as the 2025 SEA Games intensifies.
Gymnastics and kickboxing delivered two more gold medals for Team Philippines, capping another productive day alongside victories from Olympians EJ Obiena and Joanie Delgaco as competition continued on Day 7 of official competition at the SEA Games Thailand 2025.
Jasmine Althea Ramilo powered her way to gold in the rhythmic gymnastics women’s individual all-around, scoring 102.180 to top the field.
In kickboxing, Zyra Bon-as followed with a statement victory, defeating Thai opponent Jantakarn Manoban to claim gold in the women’s low kick -48kg final.
The pair of golds complemented dominant performances from Obiena and Delgaco as the former successfully defended his pole vault title while setting a new SEA Games record.

As for Delgaco, she teamed up with Kristine Paraon to deliver another gold for the Philippines after ruling the women’s double sculls event.

Silver medals also piled up for Team Philippines across multiple disciplines.
Kira Ellis, Kim Mangrobang, and Erika Burgos Flo secured a podium finish in the women’s aquathlon team relay, before Ellis teamed up with Matthew Justine Hermosa, Raven Alcoseba and Andrew Kim Remolino for another silver in the mixed relay.
The chess team of Darwin Laylo, John Paul Gomez, Joey Antonio, and Daniel Quizon earned silver in the men’s rapid event, while Whinny Bayawon added another in kickboxing’s men’s light kick -57kg category.
Yacine Guermali finished second in the men’s 10,000 meters, and Mariel Abuan followed suit in the women’s high jump.
Bronze medals rounded out the day’s haul as Nathaniel Perez claimed bronze in men’s individual foil fencing while the Philippine women’s gymnastics team—Andrea Mae Emperado, Shieldannah Sabio, Katrina Loretizo, Zchielorrae Cerezo, and Franchesca Denise Ganaden—placed third in the rhythmic gymnastics group event.
Kevin Elijah Cole joined Obiena on the pole vault podium with a bronze finish.
Additional bronze medals came from Sara Dequinan (women’s heptathlon), Jessa Mae Roda (women’s 3,000-meter steeplechase), Russel Ricaforte (men’s discus), the women’s 4x400-meter relay team, kickboxers Mikko Camingawan, Renalyn Dacquel, and Jomar Bolangui, and fencers Charmaine Andres and Perez.
