Their friendship is something else.
The Philippine women's national volleyball team may have fallen short of ending the country's medal drought in the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, but the players will surely go home with rich experiences.
And apparently, in the case of Alyssa Valdez, a wine-stained memory.
The lady spikers had a dinner party on Monday night in Phnom Penh before going back to Manila. Michele Gumabao posted on Instagram a photo of her, Valdez, and Ella De Jesus with a caption: "Reunited and it was epic! Love you, friends."
While it's unclear how much fun they had, it looks like they had a proper amount of shenanigans, based on the comments.
Valdez, whose blue polo was drenched, revealed that it was Celine Domingo who accidentally spilled wine on her polo. Not once, but twice in less than an hour.
But De Jesus also snitched on Valdez, her longtime teammate since college: "Picture bago tayo tapunan ni Ly ng wine."
Valdez also hilariously remarked, "Wala na ko ma-post." To which, Gumabao replied, "Sorrows sorrows prayers." Whatever that means.
The tight bond of the three Creamline Cool Smashers is not a secret. They regularly post about their adorable kulitan moments, especially when they're traveling. And clearly, they brought the same energy to the SEA Games in Cambodia. After all, experiences are best when shared with loved ones.
We would've wanted more inside stories (a.k.a kuwentong lasing) about their dinner party. But as they say in Phnom Penh: Secreeeeeeeeeet!
