With Eya Laure now in the fold and Sisi Rondina returning from beach volleyball, Choco Mucho heads into the All-Filipino Conference with a renewed chance to bring home its first PVL title.
Choco Mucho enters the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference with a familiar question hanging over it.
The Flying Titans have spent the past few seasons circling the title conversation—even considered contenders, but never quite far enough to be labeled favorites even during the time they went to back-to-back Finals.
But with an impressive offseason, Choco Mucho is once again positioned to test whether its ceiling is higher than before—or if it remains just a step short of the league’s elite.
A season of mixed signals
- All-Filipino Conference: 4th place
- PVL On Tour: 10th place
- Reinforced Conference: 9th place
The 2025 PVL season was admittedly a disappointing one for Choco Mucho.
While the Flying Titans showed heart in the All-Filipino Conference, the rest of the year exposed gaps in depth, lineup stability, and sustained execution.
New additions, clearer direction
- Eya Laure
- Jaila Atienza
- Alina Bicar
- Caitlin Viray
Choco Mucho moved to address those concerns during the PVL offseason entering 2026.
Eya Laure headlines the group as a proven scorer capable of taking on heavy offensive responsibility, while Atienza, Bicar, and Viray provide depth across the rotation.

Laure arrives, Rondina returns
The biggest shift for Choco Mucho is the combination of Laure’s arrival and Sisi Rondina’s return from beach volleyball duties with Alas Pilipinas.
Rondina’s availability restores the Flying Titans’ emotional leader and primary weapon, while Laure gives the team a second high-level scoring option on the wing.
Together, they form a tandem that could ease offensive pressure and give Deanna Wong, Alina Bicar, or Tia Andaya more flexibility in running the offense.
Of course, Choco Mucho also has the likes of Maddie Madayag, Kat Tolentino, Des Cheng, and Isa Molde—all capable of giving notable scoring outputs on any given night.
The bar has moved
With Rondina back full-time and Laure now in the fold, Choco Mucho’s expectations shift.
Being competitive is no longer the goal. The Flying Titans have assembled the pieces to make a legitimate All-Filipino title push.
Whether they capitalize on it will come down to execution—but the window is clearly open again.
Only time will tell when the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference will begin on January 31.
