Leading the pack: Statistical leaders after Round 1 of 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference

The first round of the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference is in the books, and the numbers reveal who’s been setting the tone across the league. 

From unstoppable scorers to defensive anchors, several players have already separated themselves statistically as the tournament enters the second stage.

Here’s a look at the PVL Reinforced Conference statistical leaders heading into Round 2:


Best Scorers: Anna DeBeer

ZUS Coffee’s Anna DeBeer sits atop the scoring leaderboard with 148 points, fueling the Thunderbelles’ unbeaten run in the preliminaries. 

Farm Fresh’s Helene Rousseaux follows at second with 139 points, while Capital1’s Oleksandra Bytsenko (125 pts), Nxled’s Paola Martinez (122 pts), and Akari’s Annie Mitchem (121 pts) round out the top five.


Best Spikers: Anna DeBeer

DeBeer also leads all spikers with a 41.12 percent success rate, proving her efficiency on top of volume.

Helene Rousseaux (39.05%), Bytsenko (39.02%), Farm Fresh’s Trisha Tubu (38.18%), and Mitchem (37.15%) complete the list of the league’s most reliable finishers.


Best Blockers: Savi Davison

PLDT star hitter Savi Davison headlines the blocking leaderboard with an average of 0.94 per set, showing her two-way impact as one of the league's most complete players.

She’s followed by Choco Mucho’s Maddie Madayag (0.88), Creamline’s Pangs Panaga (0.70), ZUS Coffee rookie Alexis Miner (0.68), and Petro Gazz’s MJ Phillips (0.58).


Best Servers: Eli Soyud

Akari’s Eli Soyud has been lethal from the service line, averaging 0.61 aces per set to lead all servers. 

Jean Asis (0.47) of Galeries Tower ranks second, followed by Petro Gazz’s Lindsey Vander Weide (0.42) and Farm Fresh’s duo of Helene Rousseaux and Rizza Cruz, both among the top five.


Best Setters: Cloanne Mondoñedo

ZUS Coffee’s Cloanne Mondoñedo continues to orchestrate with precision, topping all setters at 6.16 excellent sets per set.

Trailing her are Cignal’s Gel Cayuna (5.94), Farm Fresh’s Alohi Robins-Hardy (5.84), Akari’s Mars Alba (4.87), and PLDT’s Kim Fajardo (4.81).


Best Diggers: Thang Ponce

Choco Mucho’s Thang Ponce anchors the defense with an average of 5.47 digs per set, once again proving why she’s among the league’s best liberos. 

PLDT’s Kath Arado (4.50), Cignal’s Dawn Catindig (4.33), Akari’s Justine Jazareno (3.96), and Galeries Tower’s Juliet Catindig (3.93) complete the elite five.


Best Receivers: Thang Ponce

Ponce also leads the receiving efficiency rankings with an impressive 56.20 percent, giving her a rare defensive double. 

Akari’s Gretchel Soltones (51.94%), Juliet Catindig (50.00%), and ZUS Coffee teammates Anna DeBeer (47.66%) and Alyssa Eroa (45.45%) round out the top receivers.


Numbers don't lie

The statistical numbers have seemingly reflected the current standings, with ZUS Coffee's unbeaten run to PLDT's rock-solid defense.

As the second round begins, the chase for both quarterfinal spots and statistical supremacy is only getting more intense.
