Nothing beats playing and competing in your hometown.

The PLDT High Speed Hitters, Nxled Chameleons, Farm Fresh Foxies, and Galeries Tower Highrisers certainly felt that warm welcome when they arrived in Cebu for the PVL on Tour.

The four teams will be playing in back-to-back games from July 26 to 27 at the USJ-R Coliseum in a bid to improve their positions heading to the knockout rounds.

It was an especially poignant moment for at least six players who hailed from the area.

Cebuana Dimdim Pacres of Galeries Tower was proud to show off local culture via a dance-off with Des Clemente of Farm Fresh.

Krich Macaslang of Nxled, who hailed from Danao, was excited to play in Cebu for the second time.

"Iba pa rin 'yung excitement 'pag sa hometown ka lalaro," she shared.

Pierre Angeli Abellana was all too happy to return to her roots as the University of San Carlos standout will be playing as a professional for the first time in Cebu. The Foxies rookie will be joined by teammate and fellow Cebuana Lorene Toring.

Meanwhile, Shiela Kiseo and Zenneth Perolino fly the Bisaya banner for PLDT.

It was quite the treat for fans, who had a meet-and-greet with Farm Fresh and Galeries Tower on Thursday.

Even kids were excited to get a photo with star spiker Trisha Tubu.

On July 26, the undefeated Nxled and PLDT squads clash for a coveted spot in the quarterfinals. Meanwhile, the 2-1 Farm Fresh is gunning for a slot in the playoffs, and even a spot in second place in Pool A.

On the other hand, Galeries Tower is still seeking a breakthrough.

The top two teams in each pool earn a direct QF berth, while the third to sixth place squads engage in a crossover knockout.

The games will air live on One Sports, One Sports+, and the Pilipinas Live app.
