The PLDT High Speed Hitters are set to open their 2025 PVL on Tour campaign against a refreshed Farm Fresh Foxies squad on Tuesday, July 1, at the FilOil EcoOil Arena in San Juan.

The High Speed Hitters will miss several of its mainstays, including star Savi Davison, who remains in Canada for a well-earned break following her impressive run in the 2025 AVC Women’s Volleyball Champions League.

Also unavailable are rookie Alleiah Malaluan, the ninth overall pick in the 2025 PVL Draft, and middle blocker Dell Palomata—both of whom are currently suiting up for the national team in the ongoing VTV Cup in Vietnam.

These roster gaps come on the heels of recent player exits, including former PLDT spikers Erika Santos and Fiola Ceballos, further challenging the squad’s depth and chemistry.

Despite the hurdles, PLDT still has plenty of firepower to bank on with the leadership of star opposite hitter Kianna Dy, who is expected to carry the scoring load alongside mainstays Majoy Baron, Mika Reyes, Angge Alcantara, and Kath Arado.

The High Speed Hitters are determined to make the most of the PVL on Tour—both as a proving ground for young talent and a chance to sharpen team dynamics heading into the next conferences

First serve for the PLDT-Farm Fresh is set for 4:00 p.m.
