Adrian Nocum’s latest deal with Rain or Shine will keep last year’s All-Rookie Team member an Elasto Painter through 2028.
Adrian Nocum is staying where he belongs—at the heart of Rain or Shine’s future.
The Elasto Painters signed the rising star guard to a fresh three-year extension on Tuesday, July 1, locking up one of their key young pieces as they continue to build toward title contention.
Selected 24th overall in the 2023 PBA Rookie Draft, Nocum has quickly gone from second-round sleeper to a key franchise piece for head coach Yeng Guiao and Rain or Shine.
The 25-year-old out of Mapua has emerged as one of the league’s most electrifying young guards, earning All-Rookie Team honors last season and stepping up as a viable offensive contributor for the Elasto Painters in the ongoing Philippine Cup semifinals.
Through three games in their ongoing semifinal series against TNT Tropang 5G, Nocum is averaging 16.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.7 steals.
He was among five ROS players in double figures that powered a breakthrough 107–86 win in Game 3, trimming the Grand Slam-seeking TNT’s series lead to 2–1.

Game 4 is set for tomorrow on Wednesday, July 2 as the Elasto Painters aim to even the series against the Tropang 5G at the Mall of Asia Arena at 7:30 p.m.
Rain or Shine, which has now reached the semifinals in four straight conferences, has made keeping its young core a clear priority.
Nocum’s extension follows similar long-term deals for Anton Asistio and Leonard Santillan, who signed three-year contracts last year, while Andrei Caracut, Jhonard Clarito, and Gian Mamuyac are signed through 2026.
