PLDT made it three wins on the spin after drubbing Farm Fresh, 25-9, 25-13, 25-21, to gain a share of the lead in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the Ynares Center in Antipolo Saturday.

Savi Davison and Majoy Baron heated up right from the get go, setting the tone for the rousing sweep that buoyed the High Speed Hitters to 5-1, tied with the Creamline Cool Smashers at the top.

Davison carried the cudgels with 21 points built on 17 attacks, three blocks and an ace, to go along with seven receptions.

Baron also delivered the goods with 11 markers, scattering seven attacks, two rejections and two aces.

Fiola Ceballos contributed eight points and seven digs, while Erika Santos scored eight of her own.

Kim Fajardo churned out the offense with 13 excellent sets as PLDT overwhelmed Farm Fresh with a 45-30 spiking disparity.

The High Speed Hitters may have wrapped up the bout in straight sets, but the Foxies did not go down without a fight.

After runaway first and second sets for PLDT, the Foxies bared their fangs and stayed in step with the High Speed Hitters for a stalemate at 10. However, the troika of Davison, Baron and Kim Fajardo delivered the differential hits that tipped the scales to their favor.

Still, Farm Fresh trailed close behind until PLDT leaned once again on Davison, who nailed the last two blows to seal the deal.

Caitlin Viray was the lone double digit scorer for Foxies with 11.

Rizza Cruz and Chinnie Arroyo only managed six points apiece as Farm Fresh fell to 2-4.
