Hot air balloon, camels, and dune buggies: Creamline gets a taste of Dubai

Hot air balloon, camels, and dune buggies: Creamline gets a taste of Dubai

The Creamline Cool Smashers got to bond in Dubai ahead of their PVL Invitational Conference title defense, which starts June 27.

Michele Gumabao shared Creamline's adventures on her YouTube channel, MG TV.

"Woke up at 3 a.m. to get ready and drive to the hot air balloons! First time ko, super saya pala pero scary din sa una!" she wrote.

The Cool Smashers didn't seem that scared of flying. Much. Gumabao even pretended to be a plane attendant for the flight.

The landing, though, might have been more exciting. They even landed on their backs.

Ced Domingo also showed off some moves inside their car.

Ella de Jesus, though, shared that her favorite part of the video might be setter Julia de Guzman making faces by the car window, likening her to Esther of the horror film Orphan.

"Glad I made you happy today," de Guzman noted on Instagram.

The volleybelles also tried what it was like to ride camels. Getting up was pretty much an experience, as Risa Sato and Jema Galanza found out pretty quickly.

Finally, no desert safari would be complete without ATVs, and the Cool Smashers were surely feeling the rides.

Creamline will be competing in Group A of the PVL Invitational Conference against the Chery Tiggo Crossovers, the PLDT High Speed Hitters, the Akari Chargers, and the Gerflor Defenders. Only the top two finishers in the group will move on to the round-robin semifinals.

After a relaxing time in Dubai, expect the defending champs to come out recharged and with guns ablaze.
