Ivy Lacsina continues to grow into her role under coach Tina Salak's system, showing steady improvement in her PVL on Tour performances as she works to regain her top form for the Akari Chargers.
It has been a rather quiet start for Ivy Lacsina in the ongoing PVL on Tour.
After five games, the Akari Chargers star has been limited to just a single double-digit performance in the preseason tilt, highlighted by an 18-point breakout performance against the Chery Tiggo Crossovers.
In their latest victory against the Capital1 Solar Spikers, Lacsina was limited to just eight points.
Despite this, the 25-year-old spiker isn’t too worried about her form as of late, prioritizing her adjustment under new head coach Tina Salak’s system.
“Siyempre po, kahit hanggang ngayon nasa proseso pa rin po kami,” Lacsina said during the post-game press conference.

Adapting to Salak’s system has required Lacsina to make major adjustments—not just physically, but mentally.
Having come from a different playing style, she admits there has been a period of recalibration.

More than anything, Lacsina is focused on building trust within the system amid the injuries that the team has been dealing with.
With their pool play campaign wrapped up, Akari will now look towards the knockout round of the PVL on Tour.
