Ever wonder how your favorite players react and speak up during games and trainings?

Most of the time, the voices inside the court get drown out by screaming fans and the booming drums from the cheer section.

But in the NBA, some players and coaches are mic'd up from time to time, and the results range from comedic to personal.

It's a good device to feel up close to the athlete. And the Akari Chargers gave a taste of what could be for Philippine volleyball after setting up new recruit Faith Nisperos with a mic during training.

@akarichargers Do you ever wonder how your favorite players react during training? That’s why Mic’d Up the newest member of our family, Faith Nisperos! 💖 #AkariRecharged #AkariHasFaith #WeHaveFaith #PVL #PremierVolleyballLeague #FaithNisperos #fyp ? original sound - Akari Chargers

In Nisperos' initial training session with her new squad, fans got a treat on the behind-the-scenes with the former Ateneo Blue Eagles superstar.

Things usually unheard like the simple "Akin na," "Mine," and "Good set" were captured. Fans who also play the game might find this really not that new. These are normal reactions to the game. But hearing the country's stars still feels surreal.

PS: Faith exclaimed "Boom, happy birthday!" during one of her spikes.

The UAAP, PVL, and Spikers' Turf should really consider doing a mic'd up segment. The volleyball community will definitely love it.
