Javee Mocon and Schonny Winston are among the latest PBA players on the move.

In a proposed three-team deal involving the NLEX Road Warriors, Meralco Bolts, and Converge FiberXers, NLEX is set to send Mocon to Meralco and big man Jonnel Policarpio to Converge.

In return, the Road Warriors will acquire Winston and Kevin Racal from Converge.

Meanwhile, FiberXers will receive guard Kurt Reyson and a future draft pick from Meralco as part of the transaction.

The trade is pending approval from the PBA Commissioner's office.

Mocon’s move to Meralco signals a new chapter for the veteran forward, who was acquired by NLEX in September 2024 in a trade with Phoenix.

A 2019 PBA All-Rookie first team selection, the San Beda product now has the opportunity to play alongside Chris Newsome and Chris Banchero, adding depth to a veteran Bolts that already feature Cliff Hodge, Bong Quinto, and Raymond Almazan, among others.

Policarpio, the sixth overall pick in the 2024 PBA Draft, heads to Converge with an opportunity for a larger role and continued development.

For NLEX, Winston represents a potential scoring boost as the 27-year-old showed flashes of offensive firepower with Converge and is expected to strengthen the Road Warriors’ perimeter attack alongside Robert Bolick and Kevin Alas.

Racal, meanwhile, adds experience and depth, having played for Alaska from 2015 to 2022 before joining the FiberXers.

Reyson was selected 23rd overall by Meralco in the 2018 PBA Draft.

“We are truly grateful to Javee and Jonnel for their professionalism and commitment during their time with NLEX. Javee brought leadership to our locker room, while Jonnel showed great potential and energy from day one,” said NLEX team governor Ronald T. Dulatre.

“We thank them for their contributions to the Road Warriors and wish them nothing but success in the next chapter of their careers.”

The PBA Commissioner’s Cup will start in March following the PBA All-Star Weekend.
