Rain or Shine veteran Beau Belga led the PBA’s donation drive in Super Typhoon Uwan-ravaged Albay. Just a week ago, TNT gunners RR Pogoy and Calvin Oftana reached out to Typhoon Tino victims in Cebu.
Though the PBA's on-court action is on a break to give way for Gilas Pilipinas’ FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers’ campaign, the league is busy off the court in reaching out to typhoon-hit provinces.
It's latest was a donation drive in Libon, Albay led by Rain or Shine veteran Beau Belga.
The 39-year-old Belga was born and raised in Gubat, Sorsogon.

The league handed relief goods, which included rice, canned goods, noodles and condiments, to 4,000 residents affected by Super Typhoon Uwan.
“Tinanong natin kung ano 'yong kailangan nila. Ang priority talaga nila ay pagkain kaya 'yon ang dinala natin para sa kanila,” said PBA commissioner Willie Marcial in an article posted on the league’s website.
“Nagpapasalamat din tayo siyempre sa lahat ng Local Government Units sa tulong at suporta na ibinigay sa atin para makarating tayo sa mga nasalanta ng bagyo.”
