CJ Cansino and the Meralco Bolts look to extend their winning streak to four games when they face the NLEX Road Warriors in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup on Sunday, Oct. 26.

Tip off is at 7:30 p.m. at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

After opening the season with back-to-back losses, Meralco (3-2) has found its rhythm with three consecutive victories — the latest a gritty 78-76 triumph over Magnolia in Montalban.

Cansino delivered a career performance with 23 points and four blocks, helping the Bolts withstand the Hotshots’ late rally to seal the win.

The Bolts recently returned from their East Asia Super League campaign in Okinawa, Japan, where they bowed to the Ryukyu Golden Kings, 72-81.

Despite the loss, Meralco kept the game close against the B.LEAGUE powerhouse before running out of steam in the final minutes — an experience that should only toughen them as the PBA conference progresses.

Now back in local action, coach Luigi Trillo’s squad will aim to continue its surge and move up the standings.

But standing in their way is a steady NLEX side (2-1) coming off an 87-81 win over Phoenix, making for a compelling clash between two teams on the rise.
