Chloe Ann San Jose proudly celebrated boyfriend Carlos Yulo’s golden triumph in Jakarta, sharing a heartfelt message after he reclaimed his world title in vault at the 53rd FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships.
Love and victory were both in the air in Jakarta.
Moments after Carlos Yulo reclaimed his world title in vault at the 53rd FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, his girlfriend Chloe Ann San Jose took to Instagram to celebrate his latest golden triumph with a heartfelt post.
“The universe had grand plans and you answered the call. So grateful to walk this journey beside you, always, mahal ko,” she wrote on the post, alongside photos of Yulo from the competition.
Yulo—who is now a two-time world champion in vault and reigning Olympic champion in the apparatus—replied, “Thank you my cheerleader.”
The exchange quickly caught the attention of fans, who were moved by their unwavering support for each other.
Yulo delivered a stellar performance in Jakarta, scoring 15.200 in his first vault and 14.533 in his second for an average of 14.866, edging Armenia’s Artur Davtyan (14.833) and Ukraine’s Nazar Chepurnyi (14.483) for the gold.
It marked Yulo’s third World Championships gold and a sweet follow-up to his bronze medal in floor exercise earlier in the week.
