Sedrick Barefield will try to power Blackwater back to the win column when it collides with fellow bounce-back seeking Rain or Shine in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup at the Ynares Center in Antipolo Friday, Oct. 24.

Match unfurls at 5:15 p.m.

The Bossing are coming off a 96-105 defeat to Meralco last week and now tote a 1-1 mark.

Despite battling right shoulder tendinitis, Barefield still delivered a spectacular season debut, exploding for 34 points while adding two rebounds and two assists with no turnovers.

RK Ilagan also provided steady support with 22 markers.

But Blackwater struggled to get consistent output from its other young guns as Christian David and rookie Dalph Panopio were both held to single digits.

The Bossing would try to replicate their strong 107-87 whipping of Terrafirma in their opening game last Oct. 10.
