Decimated by injuries, TNT managed to finally pull one back from the streaking San Miguel Beermen in the PBA Philippine Cup Finals, putting up spirited Game 5 victory.
The PBA’s 49th season is now down to just a maximum two games. Whether or not TNT’s Grand Slam dreams will be realized, or the impending doom just postponed to a later date, it’s been quite the triple crown journey for the TNT team.
