While all of that sounds good, Barangay Ginebra San Miguel’s Von Pessumal had a different approach during their vacation in Italy.
In an Instagram post, Pessumal shared a picture of him along with Italian hoopers in Florence.
There the Ginebra guard shared a valuable lesson he learned about basketball while playing a pickup game in Italy.
“Basketball is a universal language,” Pessumal wrote in his caption.
“There was a language barrier but we all understood the language of basketball,” he added.
Indeed, basketball is a universal sport as it crosses language barriers.
While many hoopers come from different backgrounds, it’s basketball that truly unites each and every one of us when on the court.
It’s safe to say that Von and his wife enjoyed their vacation in Italy, especially after battling it out in the PBA On Tour.
Pessumal will have some time to relax and unwind before heading back to the country where he and the rest of Ginebra will begin to prepare for the upcoming PBA season.
