Kai Sotto delivered his fourth double-double in five games, powering the Koshigaya Alphas to a commanding bounce-back win against the Sun Rockers Shibuya in the B.LEAGUE
Kai Sotto appears to be hitting his stride for the Koshigaya Alphas.
The 7-foot center delivered another impressive double-double, tallying 15 points and 14 rebounds in a commanding 93-75 rout of the Sun Rockers Shibuya in Japan B.LEAGUE action on Saturday, February 14.
It marked Sotto’s fourth double-double in his last five games, as well as his fifth straight contest scoring in double figures.
Over that five-game stretch, Sotto has averaged 14.6 points and 11.4 rebounds, helping Koshigaya to a 3-2 record.
Bouncing back from a 76-67 loss to the Sendai 89ERS last weekend, the Alphas stormed to a 31-17 first-quarter lead and never looked back en route to their third win in the last four games.

With the victory, Koshigaya improved to 15-23, pulling level with the Sun Rockers for seventh place in the Eastern Conference.
The Alphas will look to complete a weekend sweep when the two teams meet again on Sunday, February 15.
