AJ Edu did a little bit of everything to help the Gunma Crane Thunders beat the Saga Ballooners, 81-51, in the B.LEAGUE on Sunday at the Saga Arena.

Edu finished with four points, nine rebounds, and three assists as the Crane Thunders avenged an 84-78 loss on Saturday while also snapping Saga's six-game winning streak.

As such, Gunma has won three of its last four games, improving to a strong 19-11 slate in East standings.

Gunma used a third quarter where the Crane Thunders outscored Saga, 25-13, to blow the game wide open en route to the dominant victory.

However, Edu’s fellow Filipino imports were not as fortunate as both Kiefer Ravena and Dwight Ramos absorbed losses with their respective teams also on Sunday.

Ravena’s six points, one rebound, and four assists were not enough for the Yokohama B-Corsairs as they fell in a 13-point loss against the league-leading Nagasaki Velca, 91-78, at the Happiness Arena.

The B-Corsairs dropped to 11-19 and are currently losers of back-to-back games.

Then in the other match, Ramos had nine points, two rebounds, and two assists in the Levanga Hokkaido’s 79-69 loss at the hands of the Kawasaki Brave Thunders.

The loss was Hokkaido’s seventh of the season as they flaunt a 23-7 slate, good enough for third in the East standings.

Hokkaido had previously won four straight, including an 83-77 conquest over Kawasaki during their Saturday matchup.
