Ray Parks Jr., Osaka win third straight game after blasting Alphas

The Osaka Evessa benefitted from a hot-shooting game from Ray Parks Jr. for a big home win against the Koshigaya Alphas, 76-58, in Japan B.LEAGUE action at the Ookini Arena Maishima on Sunday.

Parks drilled four triples out of six attempts to finish with 14 points, to go along with four rebounds and four assists.

Parks played 25 minutes and was the second leading scorer for the team behind Ryan Luther, who had 16 markers for the Evessa. He also had eight rebounds and five assists against the Alphas.

Kai Sotto was with the Alphas for this road series but is still inactive due to the ACL injury he sustained in January of 2025.

Osaka won its third straight and improved to 13-17, while the Alphas were sent reeling to their fourth straight defeat and are at 10-20 for the season.

Elsewhere, Francis Lopez had four points and two rebounds in over 16 minutes of action as the FE Nagoya dropped their match against the Sunrockers Shibuya, 95-80.

Nagoya dropped to 12-18 with the loss.
