Isabella Bandoja scored a goal in the second half, but that did little to cushion the Filipina5's 1-5 annihilation at the hands of Argentina in the FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup Philippines 2025 at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.

The 63rd-ranked host team thus wrapped up the inaugural competition without a single win in three games.

The world No. 6 Argentinians put on a clinic from the get-go, hitting five goals in a scoring spree ignited by Lara Villalba within the first seven minutes of play.

The Filipina5 did put up a gallant stand, with Bandoja giving a glimmer of hope on her goal in the seventh minute of the second half.

But the Nationals could not find the back of the net from there.

The Philippines suffered a 0-6 loss to world No. 14 Poland in its opening assignment but finally scored two goals in a 2-3 loss to Morocco, courtesy of Inday Tolentin and Cathrine Graversen.
