The Dallas Mavericks finally broke through with their first win of the 2025–26 NBA season, defeating the Toronto Raptors, 139–129, on Monday (PH time) at the American Airlines Center.

After a slow 0–2 start, the Mavericks found their rhythm behind a balanced offensive effort that saw three players score at least 20 points.

Anthony Davis led the charge with 25 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, three steals, and two blocks while D’Angelo Russell added 24 points and six assists.

Rookie Cooper Flagg, the no. 1 overall pick, got his first big game with 22 points, helping Dallas pull away in the third quarter and lead by as many as 16 points.

For Toronto, Scottie Barnes delivered a game-high 33 points, but it wasn’t enough as the Raptors fell to 1–2 for the season.
