Team Canada and Japan will be coming off of opposite results in their opening match at the 2025 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championship.
Canada will be looking for back-to-back wins as Japan aims to recover from a shock opening day loss as Pool G action continues in the 2025 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championship at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Monday afternoon.
Canada are coming off of a big victory over Libya when they swept their opening match on Saturday, with their eyes set on keeping themselves at pace to win the group.
Sharone Vernon-Evans will build off of his 22-point outing vs Libya.
Meanwhile, Japan, who got the rug pulled from under them in their first match against Turkiye, hope for better results after being swept against a sizeable crowd that rallied behind them at the Big Dome.
