Reigning two-time Olympic champions France face off against a South Korea, who are returning to the FIVB Men's World Champioship for the first time in 11 years.
Olympic champions France will face a unique test when they face off against a motivated South Korea in Pool C action of the 2025 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championship at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Sunday.
France, making its 18th appearance in the tournament, will be eager to start strong and contend for a World Championship podium — a feat which the team have yet to replicate since their lone bronze medal finish in 2002.

Setter Antoine Brizard will orchestrate the offense against a Korean side which was the last team to secure a spot in the world championship, gaining entry through the FIVB World Ranking pathway.
Korea, bannered by outside hitter Heo Su-Bong, will be looking to make a deep run in its 10th appearance and first since 2014.
Korea made it to the semifinals in the country's best result in 1978.
