Arike Ogunbowale, Paige Bueckers, and the Dallas Wings arrested a four-game slide to complete a five-game WNBA Wednesday slate.
There’s no place like home for the Lynx as Minnesota became just the fourth team in WNBA history to start a season 13-0 or better at home.
Elsewhere, the defending champion New York Liberty, Las Vegas Aces, and LA Sparks continue to pick up steam in the first game played after the All-Star break.
LYNX CONTINUE HOME DOMINATION; LIBERTY, ACES, SPARKS KEEP ROLLING
- Minnesota Lynx (21-4) def. Chicago Sky (7-16), 91-68: The league-leading Lynx extended their perfect home record to 13-0 with a dominant 23-point romp of the Sky.
All-Star Game MVP Napheesa Collier collected 19 points, six rebounds, four assists, and four blocks in another stellar two-way performance.
- New York Liberty (16-6) def. Indiana Fever (12-12), 98-84: Six Liberty players scored in double figures as the defending champions cruised past the still Caitlin Clark-less Fever and into a fourth straight dub.
Jonquel Jones returned with a bang after a 12-game absence due to an ankle injury, netting a team-high 19 points while Breanna Stewart added 17 markers of her own.
- Las Vegas Aces (12-12) def. Atlanta Dream (13-10), 87-72: For the first time this season, reigning MVP A’ja Wilson and the Aces won three games in a row following a commanding disposal of the Dream.
Wilson finished with 24 points and 12 rebounds for his ninth double-double of the season while three Las Vegas scored 11 markers or more in a balanced effort.
- LA Sparks (9-14) def. Washington Mystics (11-12), 93-86: Dearica Hamby powered her way to a dominant 24-point, 14-rebound double-double, leading the Sparks to their third consecutive win at the expense of the Mystics.
Rickea Jackson contributed 22 points, helping LA secure their fourth victory in the last five games.
- Dallas Wings (7-17) def. Seattle Storm (14-10), 87-63: Arike Ogunbowale and Paige Bueckers joined forces to help the Wings crush the Storm and snap a four-game skid.
Ogunbowale fired a team-high 20 points, Bueckers added an all-round 14-4-6 statline as Dallas rode a blistering 32-15 third quarter to break the game wide open.
