Six-leg multi-city race aims to showcase iconic Metro Manila scenes

All roads are clear for the Rexona Metro Manila 10 Miler Series, with the unique multi-city race traversing some of the most iconic sceneries around the capital.

Spread across six legs in six major cities, it is designed to inspire and equip runners for longer distances such as half-marathons and full marathons.

“It’s a perfect chance for our runners to reinvigorate their appreciation of Metro Manila. We want to showcase the beauty of our capital and elevate Metro Manila as a premier urban running destination,” said RUNRIO founder and CEO Rio de la Cruz. "This is a testament to Unilever's continuing commitment to embracing a healthy lifestyle as well as Rexona’s purpose of inspiring everyone to move with confidence,” said Bea Joson, Deodorants Lead for Unilever Philippines.

About 5,000 runners are expected to participate in each race of the series which has Rexona as title sponsor, with legs composed of 5K, 10K, and 16K or 10-miler distances.

The City of Manila will kick off the festivities on April 6 to be held at the historic Quirino Grandstand. Following suit will be Pasay City on May 4 at SM Mall of Asia Complex; Muntinlupa City on July 6 at Filinvest City; Paranaque City on August 3 at Parqal Aseana City, Makati City on September 14 at Ayala Triangle Gardens; and finally in Quezon City on November 23 at UP Diliman.

All participants will receive a special race kit with their singlet and free Rexona, a medal upon finish, and a generous lootbag from all our sponsors.

16K finishers for all the six races will also receive an exclusive conqueror’s medal, a fitting reward to them stepping up to the challenge in this race which has ION+ as official electrolyte drink, and also has Pond's, Vaseline, Surf, Dove, Knorr, Lady's Choice, Selecta, and Close Up as sponsors.

This will indeed be a race to remember, with Rexona’s big comeback to the running scene.
