Surging UP looks to extend its winning run to four as the Fighting Maroons welcome the FEU Tamaraws’ challenge in the UAAP Season 88 men’s basketball tournament on Sunday, Oct. 12, at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion.

Tip off is set for 4:30 p.m.

After a rocky 0-2 start, the defending champions have regained their form with three consecutive victories, capped by a commanding 83-69 rout of Ateneo last time out. 

Francis Nnoruka, Rey Remogat, and Harold Alarcon spearheaded that solid win that handed the Blue Eagles their first loss of the season.

Nnoruka posted 28 points, nine rebounds and four steals, including 15 markers in a decisive third-quarter surge. 

Remogat added 20 points, eight assists and six rebounds, while Alarcon chipped in 17 points, off the bench.

Now sitting at solo fourth with a 3-2 record, UP looks to sustain its momentum before closing out the first round in a Finals rematch against the DLSU Green Archers.
