Once and for all, the FEU Tamaraws are determined to exorcise the ghosts of last season’s collapse.

The top-seeded and twice-to-beat Tamaraws seek to redeem themselves this time around, facing the no. 4 DLSU Green Spikers in their UAAP Season 87 men’s volleyball Final Four showdown on Saturday, May 3, at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.

Serving time is at 12:00 p.m.

Riding a four-game winning streak, FEU looks to finally punch their ticket back to the Finals — something they haven't done since Season 81 in 2019.

This is, though, not an unfamiliar territory for the Tamaraws.

Last Season 86, the Morayta-based squad also topped the eliminations and secured a twice-to-beat bonus — only to see it vanish in heartbreaking fashion at the hands of the eventual runner-up UST Golden Spikers.

But FEU’s 13-1 record marks their best elimination round finish since Season 73 on top of owning a season sweep over DLSU, including a confident four-set win in their last meeting last April 26.

Star spiker Dryx Saavedra erupted for 25 points in that outing while  Mikko Espartero and Amet Bituin added 15 and 11 points respectively. Ariel Cacao dished out 29 excellent sets.
