DLSU Green Archers big man Mike Phillips was not able to hold back tears after his double-double performance in their win against the UST Growling Tigers.
DLSU big man Mike Phillips expressed his gratitude to the La Salle community after his huge performance against the UST Growling Tigers.
Phillips finished with 12 points and 18 rebounds in their fifth win of the season.
During the postgame interview, the 6-foot-8 Phillips was visibly emotional and revealed that the DLSU dormitory guard, Doleo Susalta, passed away three nights before their game.
According to Phillips, he played a huge part in the community in molding him to be a better person.
