The Creamline Cool Smashers swept the Capital1 Solar Spikers to secure their third straight win in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference Saturday, Feb. 21.
Creamline overpowered Capital1, 25-18, 26-24, 25-20 to roll to its third straight victory in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the FilOil Centre in San Juan Saturday, Feb. 21.
The Cool Smashers proved too much for the Bella Belen-led Solar Spikers, improving to 3-1 in the standings while shoving their foe to a tie for seventh at 2-3.
Creamline took the opener, then unleashed a late surge to flip the script in the second set to regain control of the match en route to victory.
Down 17-23, the 10-time champion unleashed a blistering 9-1 run behind Bernadeth Pons and Jema Galanza to right the ship.
With the match firmly in their grasp, the Cool Smashers never looked back as they raced to an early lead in the third set for the breakaway.
Pons produced 14 points on 12 attacks, one block and one service ace she complemented with 10 excellent receptions to earn Player of the Game honors.
Pons teamed up with Tots Carlos (15 points and 10 digs) and Jema Galanza (13 points, 10 excellent receptions and five digs) to negate Belen's 26-point eruption for the Solar Spikers.
Capital1 will look to rebound against Farm Fresh Thursday, February 26, while the Cool Smashers will take a 10-day break before returning to action against Galeries Tower on March 3.
Both games will still be held at the FilOil Centre.
