The reunion of Eya Laure and Sisi Rondina get a winning start as the Choco Mucho Flying Titans overpower the Akari Chargers in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
The Choco Mucho Flying Titans’ new era couldn’t have started any better after taking down the Akari Chargers, 25-17, 25-23, 25-20, in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference on Saturday, January 31, at the Playtime FilOil Centre in San Juan.
The victory marked a winning start for the highly-anticipated debut of Eya Laure, along with the return of former conference MVP Sisi Rondina.
Down 11-17 in the second set, the Flying Titans came roaring back behind a 14-6 run, capped by back-to-back points by Rondina to snatch the frame.
With momentum on their side, Choco Mucho started the third set with a 5-0 blast, before holding off Akari’s comeback attempt to seal the victory.
Rondina starred in her Flying Titans' return with 16 points built on 14 attacks, one block, and one service ace.
Choco Mucho will go for back-to-back wins when they battle the Cignal Super Spikers on Thursday, February 5, still at the same venue.
