The Cignal Super Spikers are on the board after breezing past the Galeries Tower Highrisers in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference opener.
The Cignal Super Spikers are off to a strong start in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference after sweeping the rebuilding Galeries Tower Highrisers, 25-17, 25-14, 25-11, on Saturday, January 31, at the Playtime FilOil Centre in San Juan.
Banking on continuity, the Super Spikers proved that their chemistry was still on point after dominating the Highrisers, which was still finding its groove after a major overhaul during the offseason.
In control from start to finish, Cignal blasted the third set with a 14-4 run and never looked back as it opened the season-ending tournament with a clean victory.
Tin Tiamzon led the way in the opener with 18 points built on 10 attacks, two blocks, and six service aces.
Cignal will go for win No. 2 when it faces the Choco Mucho Flying Titans on Thursday, February 5.
