The Galeries Tower Highrisers look to open their 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference campaign with a statement win as they take on the powerhouse Petro Gazz Angels.
The Galeries Tower Highrisers aim to start strong and make a statement when they face the Petro Gazz Angels in the opening match of the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference on Thursday, October 9, at the City of Dasmariñas Arena.
The Highrisers are ready to showcase their newest weapon in returning import Jelena Cvijovic, who is expected to boost their offense and leadership on the floor.

Cvijovic will join rising locals Ysa Jimenez, France Ronquillo, and Julia Coronel as Galeries Tower looks to improve on its 11th-place finish from last year’s conference.
Godfrey Okumu, who used to be the assistant coach, will also make his head coaching debut for the Highrisers after replacing Lerma Giron during the offseason.
Despite losing Jewel Encarnacion, Okumu will bank on his familiarity with Galeries Tower against a veteran Petro Gazz squad bannered by returning import Lindsey Vander Weide along with Fil-American standouts Brooke Van Sickle and MJ Phillips.

Facing one of the tournament’s strongest lineups right out of the gate, the Highrisers will need grit and composure to pull off an early upset and spark what they hope will be a breakthrough season.
First serve is set for 4:00 p.m.
