The Nxled Chameleons aim to make a strong first impression in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference when they battle the Farm Fresh Foxies on Thursday, October 9, at the City of Dasmariñas Arena.

All eyes will be on Paola Martinez, a Spanish national team standout, making her PVL debut.

The veteran outside hitter brings a wealth of international experience, having played professionally in Romania, Poland, Belgium, Italy, and Cyprus. Her versatility and leadership are expected to be key assets for the Chameleons’ campaign.

Martinez will team up with a promising local core led by EJ Carino, Lyann De Guzman, and Chiara Permentilla, as Nxled looks to put up a competitive fight under head coach Ettore Guidetti.

Nxled is coming the Vinh Long Volleyball Tournament 2025 in Vietnam, where the team finished as the first runners-up after falling to TP Ho Chi Minh in the Finals.

With some momentum heading into the conference, the Chameleons, who continue to grow as one of the league’s rising squads, will be tested early against a Farm Fresh team bannered by Belgian star Helene Rousseaux, Jolina Dela Cruz, and Trisha Tubu.

The match also doubles as an Italian coaching duel between Guidetti and Foxies mentor Alessandro Lodi.

The last time these two teams met during the PVL On Tour, Nxled swept Farm Fresh, 25-13, 25-16, 25-14.

With a promising roster, Nxled hopes to open the Reinforced Conference on a winning note and set the tone for a breakthrough campaign.
