Without imports, the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles banked on their strong All-Filipino lineup to take down the Akari Chargers in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference opener.
The ZUS Coffe Thunderbelles are officially on the board in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference after rallying past the Akari Chargers, 24-26, 25-23, 17-25, 26-24, 15-7, at the Ynares Center Montalban on Tuesday, October 7.
It was a hectic start for both the Chargers and Thunderbelles as they had to open their campaigns without their imports, Annie Mitchem and Anna DeBeer.

But ZUS Coffee proved to have just enough firepower to secure their first win in the year-ending tournament.
Up next for the Thunderbelles will be the Chery Tiggo Crossovers, while the Chargers gear up to face the defending champion Creamline Cool Smashers.
Both games will be on Saturday, October 11, at the City of Dasmariñas Arena.
