The Creamline Cool Smashers remain focused on extending their podium streak to 19 as they prepare for the bronze medal match of the 2025 PVL Invitational.
The goal is clear for the Creamline Cool Smashers in the 2025 PVL Invitational: extend their unmatched streak of podium finishes.
Head coach Sherwin Meneses said the team has shifted its focus to securing Sunday's bronze medal match against the Chery Tiggo Crossovers after another rare miss in making a PVL Finals.
“Syempre number one is move on. Ready kami dito sa game na ito and especially sa Sunday na maka-podium finish ulit yung Creamline,” Meneses said.
“Yung two losses naman, ganon talaga. Ginawa namin, mag-move on kami, maglaro kami nang maganda ngayon. Hopefully nakatulong yung panalo namin ngayon sa final game namin this Invitational.”

The Cool Smashers are coming off a rousing 25-15, 25-18, 25-21 sweep of the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles on Friday, August 29, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
Despite falling short of making the Finals once more, Meneses emphasized that the team gave their all even in defeat.

As Creamline looks ahead to its bronze medal match, Meneses is determined to see his squad extend its unprecedented streak of 18 consecutive PVL podium finishes.
“Hindi ganon kadali pero ita-try namin na mag-podium ulit this Invitational,” he said.
