The Chargers will definitely be a contender in the near future.
The Akari Chargers ended the PVL Second All-Filipino Conference at seventh place but the signs are pointing in the upward direction for the young but promising franchise.
Akari can exit the conference with pride having improved to a franchise-best 5-6 win-loss record.
Team chemistry among the Chargers' stars is also rock solid entering the off-season led by veteran Dindin Santiago-Manabat.
"To my Akari team, for being an incredible group of coaches and teammates. Your dedication and hard work have pushed us to give our very best in every game," Dindin made sure to express her appreciation in an Instagram post.
Young stars Faith Nisperos and Fifi Sharma have nothing but respect and adoration for Dindin.
"Grateful to be under your leadership, Mama D," Nisperos said.
The Akari franchise will look to further bolster the Chargers in hopes of creating the next powerhouse in the league.
