Cjay Perez put on a one-man show early as San Miguel showed Ginebra the exit door, 101-88, in Game 6 of the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup semifinals Friday, Jan. 16.
Perez caught fire in the first period, going on a perfect 12-for-12 clip to drop 30 of his 41 points there to set the tone for the Finals-clinching victory.

His explosion allowed the Beermen to take a 39-25 lead at the end of the first quarter, which they preserved until the final buzzer.
Now, SMB shifts its focus on its rematch against the other finalist, TNT, in a best-of-seven affair.
The two teams squared off in last season’s Last Dance, with San Miguel ending up reclaiming the All-Filipino title.
