Magnolia isn't done making changes just over a month before the PBA Season 50 unfurls, taking Javi Gomez de Liaño in exchange for Jerrick Ahanmisi and a second-round pick.
The Magnolia Hotshots continued to beef up their roster after acquiring the signing rights to Javi Gomez de Liaño.
The league approved the deal Friday, August 22, that will see the Hotshots send Jerrick Ahanmisi and a second-round pick to the Terrafirma Dyip.
In June last year, Gomez de Liaño parted ways with the Dyip after helping the team make a historic quarterfinal finish in the Philippine Cup.
He normed 16.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists that conference before heading to South Korea to play for the Anyang Red Boosters.
The move is the latest change at Magnolia's camp after first appointing LA Tenorio as head coach a few weeks ago.
The Hotshots also renewed role players like Peter Alfaro, Joseph Eriobu, and Russel Escoto, while also signing free agent Paolo Taha.
