Jeron Teng and Don Trollano took turns in rallying the Beermen to victory.

Teng sizzled with all of his 10 points in the second quarter before Trollano grabbed the reins in the fourth, pouring the bulk of his 22 points there.

SMB can gain the lead when the two teams meet again in Game 3 Friday, July 18, at the same venue.
