Fresh off their huge upset over Petro Gazz, rookie Lyann De Guzman was being interviewed as Player of the Game. But just as she began her usual “hard work, teamwork” spill, Jai Atienza suddenly jumped in—armed with a pustahan, a mission, and a massive crush.
“Binabati daw po ni Ate May si Donny [Pangilinan]” she shouted, all heart.
In their postgame moment, May pushed her fangirl agenda further—publicly inviting THE Donny Pangilinan to watch their next game, with a free ticket of course (pre-approved by her ever-supportive husband).
“Oo, fan talaga ako. Ngayon lang talaga ako nag-out loud. Nag-ano, nag-out? Charot! Parang totoo pala talaga siya gano’n. Buti na lang sobrang supportive ng husband ko eh kasi ano parang sige go lang ‘yan.”
Then came the official invite:
“Donny, manood ka naman ng PVL. Kami na bahala sa ticket mo. See you!”

For May, just seeing her idol live once at Pilipinas Got Talent—where Donny was a judge—was already a dream.
“what a privilege it is to be able to say that i've seen my fave artist live 🫶,” she once posted on social media.
But this time? The universe worked overtime.
“Kamusta? Nakita ko ‘yong post niyo.”
“Goodluck sa game niyo ah thank you!”
With that message, Donny confirmed he saw the shoutout.
Then it happened.
Donny Pangilinan—yes, Donato himself—watched Nxled’s next match against the Galeries Tower Highrisers. LIVE. And as if blessed by his presence, the Chameleons pulled off a straight-sets sweep, their third win in a row in the 2025 PVL on Tour.
“... at humingi ka pa talaga ng hug Donny 😭 this is the ultimate reverse card I never saw coming 🤯,” May shared on Instagram.
“@donny , you have no idea how much it meant to me that you came, despite your crazy schedule, you still made time to watch our game,” she added.

Here comes Jov Fernandez with her own moment. After the win, she cheekily added:
“Binabati po namin si Alden Richards.”
