In celebration of the league’s golden anniversary, the PBA is bringing the games to Pinoy fans in the Middle East.

Commissioner Willie Marcial bared the PBA will hold matches in Dubai and Bahrain later this year.

One is set in Dubai at the 17,000-seater Coco Cola Arena in October, while OFWs in Qatar will get to witness a doubleheader two months later.

Marcial is coming off a trip to Dubai where Meralco also competed in the Basketball Champions League Asia.

During that trip, Marcial had a chance to talk with Dubai Basketball Development manager Ellie Flemings and Coca Cola Arena Duba general manager Mark Jan Kar.

"May mga nabanggit nang teams na posibleng maglaro pero hindi pa muna namin ia-announce kung sino-sino ang mga ito," said the commissioner in an article on the PBA website.

Marcial also revealed they are in talks with Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and, and Abu Dhabi for 2026 games.

There’s also a chance the PBA All-Star will be held in Dubai in 2027.

"Meron ding proposal to host PBA games sa Qatar at Saudi Arabia. So tingnan natin," said the league chief.
