Desperate to end a brutal losing skid, the Terrafirma Dyip hope to regroup and rediscover their fight as they face the surging NLEX Road Warriors in the PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup on Wednesday, May 14.

The match starts at 5:00 p.m. at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

It’s been a rough ride for the Dyip, who have now lost five straight games, their latest a demoralizing 74-110 blowout at the hands of TNT.

In that loss, Terrafirma struggled on both ends, shooting just 34.8 percent from the field (24-of-69) and coughing up 19 turnovers that led to as many TNT points. In contrast, the Tropang Giga were nearly flawless, committing just six turnovers in the lopsided affair.

Terrafirma (1-5) will need a massive turnaround if they want to compete with NLEX (4-1), a team currently on a four-game tear behind the stellar play of Robert Bolick.

For the Dyip, it starts with better ball security, more consistent shot-making, and finding a spark — whether from the bench or their veterans — to stop the bleeding.

With their playoff hopes slipping, every game now carries extra weight for Terrafirma, who must show resilience and pride to avoid yet another forgettable result.
