Fresh from its PBA 3x3 conquest, the Pasig TNT Triple Giga flew to Quebec, Canada to take on another challenge.

The crew led by the inimitable coach Mau Belen and Almond Vosotros is in North America to lock horns in the FIBA 3x3 Challenger.

The team’s assistant coach, Ranidel de Ocampo, gave an early assist, as usual, as he took to social media to make a plea to the Filipino community there.

“To our kababayans sa Canada, please support our 3x3 team in Quebec Canada. Thank you po!” he said in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday.

De Ocampo, though, can count on the Filipinos to show up whenever Pinoy athletes are in town to compete for national pride.

They always do, right?

Other members of the five-time 3x3 champions are Gryann Mendoza, Ping Exciminiano, and Benninese Raoul Odou. The team, included in Pool C, will plunge into action on Sunday, when they take on Riga, ranked no. 10 in FIBA 3x3, followed by Wuxi, ranked no.18. Also seeing action in Quebec are Amsterdam HiPRO, the no.2 ranked team, and Beijing, ranked no. 5.
